The TURNIGY X500-4000 is a 4000Kv 500W brushless outrunner motor is made for 450 size RC helicopter making it an excellent upgrade for sport flying and 3D performance, great choice for Align T-Rex 450, Black Hawk 450, and similar size helicopters. The motor wires are made of flexible silicone wires and easy to work with. Weights at only 62 grams, the built quality looks and feels impressive, especially the golden color.
Setup tip: Again, this is a very powerful motor, we recommend 10/11T pinion with at least 20C Lipo and 50A+ ESC.
Important note: This motor uses M3 mounting screws and have mounting holes center-to-center of 17mm, therefore installation may required a little filing of the stock motor mount and getting some new screws.
